Heat pumps and the grant, town by town

Does the heat pump grant depend on where you live?

The amount does not. Across England and Wales the Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 towards an air source or ground source heat pump, or £9,000 for homes heated by oil or LPG with no mains gas connection, until 31 March 2027. What changes from town to town is the housing: how homes are heated, how old they are and who owns them. Each town page shows those figures and what they mean for a survey.
